Our goal is to provide a rich and comprehensive music education to children in an equitable, inclusive, and safe environment based on compassion and respect. We seek to instill a love and appreciation for music, encourage teamwork and collaboration through the ensemble experience, and foster discipline and achievement through the study of the guitar.
The curriculum includes chord playing, sight reading, ear training, and solo and ensemble playing. Repertoire will include a wide variety of musical styles with special emphasis on Canadian artists and composers. Students will experience private lessons, group guitar classes, ensemble rehearsals on a weekly basis, and a chance to perform in the beautiful acoustic of Grace Church on the Hill twice a year.
All classes, instruments, books, and accessories at no cost to students and their families.
