Stewart Burton

Rector's Warden

Stewart Burton serves as Rector’s Warden At Grace Church on the Hill.  He is retired after a 36 year career at Royal Bank of Canada, finishing as Vice Chairman of RBC Capital Markets.  Prior to his investment banking career, Stewart earned his CA/CPA at Ernst and Young.  He has been an active member of the community having served on the boards of the Canadian Opera Company, the Canadian Opera Foundation, North York Harvest Food Bank, United Way campaign cabinet and other not for profit organizations.  He currently is an Honorary Colonel of 450 Squadron Royal Canadian Air Force.  Stewart also chairs the investment and property committees at Grace.
