The Rev. Martha Gordon

Martha was born and raised in Toronto and received her foundation in faith as a youngster while attending Grace Church with her family. She completed a B.A. at Carleton University in 1989, the same year she moved to South Africa.

The Rev. Micah Latimer-Dennis

Associate Priest

Micah was born and raised in Chicago. He is a graduate of Wheaton College (IL) and Duke Divinity School (NC). Since 2020 he has lived in Toronto with his wife, Claire, a native of Montreal who is also an Anglican priest.

Stewart Burton

Rector's Warden

Stewart Burton serves as Rector’s Warden At Grace Church on the Hill. He is retired after a 36 year career at Royal Bank of Canada, finishing as Vice Chairman of RBC Capital Markets.

Laurie Melbourne

People's Warden

Laurie Melbourne serves as the People's Warden. After years of inspiring students at the TDSB, she transitioned into the role of stay-at-home mother, while still actively participating in the life of her children's schools and Grace Church.

Matthew J Flynn

Deputy Warden

My family and I have been attending Grace Church since 1984. I have been involved in many aspects of Church life over the years, including Youth Group, Serving, fundraising and, more recently, as a member of the Strategic Planning Committee.

Nathan Hiltz

Deputy Warden & Artist in Residence

Nathan Hiltz serves as both Musical Artist In Residence and Deputy Warden at Grace Church on the Hill. He leads Tiny Guitars, a community initiative providing complimentary guitar classes every Monday to both children and adults and curates the Sacred Concert Series.

Director of Childcare Centre

Katy Kabiri is the Director of Grace Church on-the-Hill Childcare Centre. Katy became a valued member of our team in September 2023 and brought an impressive background in early childhood education, spanning over two decades.

Youdon Kalsang

Assistant Director of Childcare Centre

Youdon Kalsang has been working at Grace Church on-the-Hill Childcare Centre for over 14 years. During this time, Youdon has had had the pleasure of working with children of all ages, from infants to junior kindergarten.

Stephanie Luis-Silveira

Assistant Director of Childcare Centre

Stephanie Luis-Silveira is an enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator with a deep passion for nurturing the potential within every child and dedicated to fostering the growth and development of the youngest minds.

Savannah Boddy

Director of Operations

With a background in education and the arts, Savannah was originally connected to Grace Church through the dance school that she owned and directed. Hired by a former priest at Grace, she designed and executed a children's program called 'Gifts of the Spirit'.

Mary Pan

Director of Finance

Mary Pan has been a part of the community at Grace Church on-the-Hill since 2021, where she fulfills her passion for service and community engagement. She is a CPA member and holds a Payroll Leadership Professional designation in Canada.

Sarah Hicks

Director of Music

Mezzo-soprano Sarah Hicks completed her degree in Performance Voice at McGill University's Schulich School of Music. After returning to Toronto Ms. Hicks began her career as a singer, conductor and educator.

Stéphanie Gouin

Organist

Dr. Stéphanie Gouin is a young organist, collaborative pianist, and voice coach from the Southern Ontario area. Starting the piano at age 15, she dove into the serious study of classical music head first.

Tamdin Dorjee

Facilities Team

Tamdin Dorjee was born and raised in Tibet. He moved to Toronto in 2018 and found a new home at Grace Church, where he took on the role of property manager. He has been working here for seven years, and each day has been filled with purpose and fulfillment. Tamdin enjoys every task, whether overseeing maintenance projects or engaging with congregation members. Before that, he worked at Arohanui Mental Health Care Ltd, Bournemouth, UK for 12 years as a support worker.

Albeiro Urrego

My name is Albeiro Urrego, and I am originally from Colombia. I have been working at Grace Church on-the-Hill for 13 years as a custodian. I truly enjoy the community of people that work and attend Grace. The staff, patrons and children that attend are incredible people and it is a joy to come to work everyday.

Tenpa Lobsang

My name is Lobsang Tenpa, I was born in Tibet and I came to Canada in 2006. I have worked for many years serving in community service with at risk youth and love working with and meeting members and friends of Grace.
