People's Warden

 

Laurie Melbourne serves as the Peoples Warden at Grace Church on the Hill. After years of inspiring students at the TDSB, she transitioned into the role of stay-at-home mother, prioritizing her family's well-being while still actively participating in the life of her children's schools and Grace Church. Charity and community outreach have always played a critical role in all that she does. In 2017, she established HALO, a charitable organization that supports student education and sports programs in Hanover, Jamaica. It embodied the compassion and generosity learnt within the Church and solidified her commitment to child and youth education. As a Warden, Laurie acts as the liaison to the Grace Church on the HIll Childcare Centre.
