Our Services

Recognizing that people not only differ in how they choose to celebrate Christianity, but also that our spirituality can be so deeply rooted in our varying liturgical practices, Grace Church offers different ways in which to celebrate our faith and engage in the worship of God.

Sundays

8:00 am: Said Eucharist (no music), from the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) -- every Sunday.

10:00 am: Sung Eucharist (with the choir and congregational singing), using the Book of Alternative Services (BAS) -- every Sunday except for the first Sunday of the month, when we use the Book of Common Prayer, which is written in comparatively "old" language and liturgical style.

Most 10 am services include a "children's focus" period when the children gather with the clergy to hear their own interactive and engaging message at the start of the service.

In addition, Choral BCP matins is used once per year for the Remembrance Sunday service (the Sunday closest to November the 11th), and we do hold an occasional sung Evensong (a service of Evening Prayer from the BCP).  We observe all significant feasts in the church calendar on Sundays nearest to them, and we mark many of them with special services outside of Sundays, such as Christmas Eve and Day, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Vigil.

Our Baptisms also take place several times a year at the 10 am service.  If you are considering being baptised or to have your child baptised, please let us know at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Each week, the 8:00am service is followed by the Adult Education hour at 9:00am in the Reception Room, attended by the parishioners coming to either one of the morning services. The 10:00am service is followed by a social time, refreshments and coffee in the Parish Hall.

      Daily Morning Prayer

9:00 am: A service of quiet prayer is held on weekday mornings for fifteen minutes in the Chapel. It is attended by our clergy and staff, but all others are welcomed to join us.

      Wednesdays

September through June, a communion service in the Chapel is held on every Wednesday morning at 10:30 am.
