Baptism signifies full membership in the life of the church, and is truly a sacrament of belonging. Baptism leads to sharing in the Eucharist.
For children, this begins as soon as a parents feels a child can participate – much like a child coming to the dinner table with the family. Baptisms are not limited to children, however. Many adults experience a reawakening of their spiritual nature and a desire to live a committed Christian life. Some seek baptism, od it baptized as a child, may wish to reaffirm their earlier vows with the laying on of hands, done in the presence of the Bishop.
Baptisms are planned all year!
