Our Programs

52545411 sINFANT PROGRAM (3 to 18 months)

Our Infant Program consists of 2 Infant Rooms. Each Infant Room has a maximum of 10 infants with a teacher to infant ratio of 3:1.

Our unique full-day program offers a caring and stimulating environment designed to meet the individual needs of each infant. Personalized schedules, feeding times and daily charting help each child to develop and flourish at their own pace. Time is allotted for both indoor and outdoor play and infants are encouraged to explore their world in a safe and loving environment. Daily activities, crafts, songs, games and age appropriate educational toys all combine to provide the perfect atmosphere for growing minds and bodies.

TODDLER PROGRAM (18 months to 3 years)

Our Toddler Program consists of 2 Junior Toddler Rooms (18 months to 2 years) and 1 Senior Toddler Room (2-3 years).  Each Toddler Room has a maximum of 15 toddlers with a teacher to infant ratio of 5:1.

The Toddler program allows children to learn basic rules and routines, develop social skills, and enjoy a variety of learning experiences.  We offer a variety of developmentally appropriate activities which foster the growth of self-help skills, language development, social awareness and positive, non-aggressive problem solving in each child. We encourage our toddlers to develop a sense of self-awareness, and learn about their rapidly changing environment as they develop the skills required to deal with these challenges. We stress the importance of independence in order to teach them to express individual ideas and to accomplish age appropriate tasks by themselves.

Our Preschool Program consists of 1 Preschool Room (3-4 years) and 1 Sr. Preschool Room (4-5 years).  The Preschool Room consists of 16 children and the ratio is 8:1. The Sr. Preschool Room consists of 7 children and 1 RECE.

The Preschool curriculum is designed to provide a nurturing, relaxed and inclusive environment where self-esteem is enhanced, independence encouraged, free choice decisions alt offered, social skills acquired and individuality is respected.  Children are provided with opportunities to gain competence in a variety of skills and techniques that increase their interest and control over their environment.  Our primary goal is to develop in the child an active curiosity about the world around them and an enthusiasm for learning which stimulates exploratory behaviour and creativity. The atmosphere which promotes respect for self, others and materials is created in order to help children build self-confidence and a sense of self-worth and promote a sense of caring for, and sensitivity towards others.

Our Junior Kindergarten Program consists of 1 JK Room with 7 children and 1 RECE.
The JK program focuses on preparing the children for entry into Senior Kindergarten the following fall, while giving them the social skills necessary for joining the much bigger community of the school system. Designed to help the children broaden their base of information, form concepts, acquire foundation skills and a positive attitude toward learning, the JK Program covers developing skills in literacy, mathematics and science. Due to the small size of the class, the children receive ample individual attention with respect to their particular strengths and challenges, interests and desires.
