Young Adults' Small Group -20s & 30s Club
Parishioners of Grace Church and their friends who are in their 20s and 30s meet monthly. We will gather in each other's homes, for a social time, pot-luck dinner and drinks, and informal discussion (no prior reading will be necessary). Our theme for this year is "A Year of Prayers".
Each time we meet, we will take some time to read, contemplate, and discuss together a prayer that was written by a well-known spiritual author or leader. In doing so, we will not only get a chance to reflect on the theological assumptions and context that may have guided the writing of these prayers and the authors' spiritual formation, but also begin to pray together with those in our group, and in a way, together with the innumerable "cloud of witnesses" who have walked this path before us.
Children are welcomed, though no formal childcare is provided.
Meeting dates for 2017 (all Saturdays, at 5 pm):
June 24 (the year-end BBQ and celebration)
If you'd like to volunteer your home to host the group and/or facilitate the discussion for one of these evenings, please do so, as we are now working on filling these volunteer opportunities for the year.
