Every Sunday during the school year from 12:30 until 2:00 pm,the Grace Church on-the-Hill Youth Group

meets in the second floor lounge. The group is a fun social club for youth where all are welcome. The age range begins at age 11. If you know of a young person who might enjoy pizza lunches, field trips, games, and having fun with their peers, have them contact Nancy Kitchen through the church office at 416-488-7884 ext. 110.

Women's Groups at Grace Church on-the-Hill
There are three major established women's groups at Grace Church on-the-Hill: The Brandon Group, The Cariboo Group, and The Africa Group.

The Brandon Group

The Brandon Group is famous for fun fundraising activ-ities and culinary expertise. Our live-ly meetings, held

approximately six times per year, are an enjoyable rein-forcement of com-mitment and friend-ship. We welcome new members to our active, congenial group. Our annual Bridge Luncheon is held in January.

The Cariboo Group

Cariboo is a lively, diverse group of women (some working and some retired) formed originally in support of a mission to the aboriginal and non-aboriginal commu-nities in the Cariboo district of British Columbia. We con-tinue to be in touch with this area through Bishop Gordon Light who now oversees all the Anglican Parishes of the Central Interior BC.

We meet four times a year, and have a shared leadership to organize interesting speakers and study. Cariboo also continues to support a number of projects in our own community, such as Moorelands Camp and the Churches on-the-Hill Food Bank.

Newcomers are welcome; our meeting times vary but are noted in the church bulletins ahead of the meeting date. So why not come and see if you too would like to be a Cariboo.

The Africa Group

Our link to Africa is ongoing support to an African cleric and fam-ily in Ghana. The group has donated supplies to the Kilema Hospital Project in Tanzania. To educate ourselves, we have speakers, movies, and videos about Africa. We meet on the last Monday evening of the month at 8:00 PM approximately eight times a year. Please come to the next meeting, if you are in Toronto at the time. Contact the church office to find out the next date.

The Book and Film Group

Click the Book and Film Group for detailed information about this group. Click the Church Events page to see the date of the next meeting, or email the church office for more information.

Each Sunday there are normally three services:

8:00 AM
A reflective communion service, beautiful and simple, with quiet fellowship for the early risers.

9:15 AM

A sung Eucharist using the modern language of the Book of Alternative Services.

11:00 AM
A traditional service using the Book of Common Prayer. Two Sundays each month there is a Matins service and on the remaining Sundays the service is a sung Eucharist.

On Vestry Sunday, and during the summer, the 9:15 and 11:00 services

are combined at 10:00.
